Job Description
- Lead and manage a 5 member regional IT team and the department.
- Responsible for employee hiring, review and career development.
- Organize and manage IT assets (hardware, software, etc.), user accounts, and control IT ticketing system & issues troubleshooting.
- Manage IT procurement, optimize expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts for all services, including the regional VoIP (Asterisk) infrastructure, coordinating connectivity and minimizing downtime.
- Manage IT procurement requests, collaborate with relevant functions and stakeholders to support the efficiency of IT expenses.
- Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture and processes in the Vietnam office.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls and regularly check.
- Explicitly ensuring that all regional IT operations adhere to local data protection laws, regulations
- Monitor performance of IT systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain all local software and hardware licensing to ensure conformance.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Coordinate and supervise IT staff members in Vietnam and other countries.
- Collaborate with other technical and functional teams to document and support business rules, system operating procedures that pertain to the Google platform. Enhance documentation periodically for currency and relevance
- Optimize ITSM processes using Jira to streamline ticketing workflow and maintain SLA compliance.
- Manage the regional VoIP (Asterisk) infrastructure, coordinating with vendor and internal teams to ensure clear connectivity and minimize downtime performance.
- Maintain and develop a centralized IT Knowledge Base, ensuring technical procedures are documented, up to date and accessible.
- Any other tasks assigned by the company from time to time.
Your Skills and Experience
Must have:
- 2 - 3 years of experience as a IT Manager
- Experience with the Google Workspace administration
- Upgrade and repair computer systems, hardware drivers and applications.
- In depth experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery, Firewall, DLP, endpoint protection.
- Manage entire purchasing of inventory related to hardware, software and other IT supplies.
- Monitor performance of systems and advise senior administrators of problems, defects or potential security breaches.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Expertise in ITSM framework and Jira automation, incident management, SLA compliance.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Excellent communication, people and management skills.
- Good in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Professional Collaboration Engineer is a huge plus.
- Zero Trust Architecture, CI/CD concept.
- AWS certified solution architect.
