Regional Sales Director (SEA) Chemicals

Objective: Lead and drive the sales of hardware and chemicals in the global textile/garment/footwear industry.
Description
*Use your knowledge of Mill/Brand sales dynamics to drive both Brand adoption and Mill adoption of company product and technology.
*Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate and expand in the Asian textile market and global brands sector. Ensure alignment with the company's business goals and revenue targets.
*Relationship Management: Utilize and expand your network of contacts within Asian textile mills, garment factories and global apparel and footwear brands to build long-term partnerships, identify opportunities and drive business growth.
*Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate contracts and close deals that are profitable for the company.
*Market Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
*Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Profile
*Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, Textiles, or a related field.
*Experience: Minimum of 8 to 12 years of sales experience in the textile or chemical industry, with a proven track record of success in senior sales roles. Required to have 3 to 4 years of Mill-to-Brand direct sales experience or similar experience selling chemistry such as glue and related products into mills and T1s.
*BONUS: Specific experience selling glue and related products into footwear manufacturers with extensive background in product qualification requirements, performance requirements, etc.
*Industry Connections: Extensive existing relationships with key players in Asian textile mills, garment/footwear manufacturers and global apparel and footwear brands.
*Deep understanding of the textile industry at all levels and stages of the manufacturing process.
*Comprehensive understanding of the hardware and chemistry products relevant to the textile industry, including their applications, benefits, and industry trends. Footwear manufacturing knowledge highly desirable.
*Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Fluency in relevant Asian languages. English required. Chinese speaking is an advantage.
*Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
