As an exciting opportunity existing for a highly engaging and results-oriented business professional in consumer goods industries, the winning candidate for the role must have been very knowledgeable with sales fundamentals and daily decision making in a speed manner and strategic action to succeed at this role.
Description
* Leading a team comprising of a big sales team with more than 300, and other supporting functions to drive the sales revenue regionally.
* Providing direction and leadership, while being responsible for promoting customers' satisfaction as well as acting as an advisor to the National Sales Director.
* Planning and implementing of sales strategies towards achieving leads penetrating, revenue generation, eventually increase of the market shares and overall business growth.
* Developing sales and products distribution with an emphasis on geographic expansion which has a great impact on the regional sales networks.
* Involving in day-to-day strategic business direction, sales initiatives, and terms negotiation with key decision-makers.
* Monitoring and analyzing the market trend, competition activities in order to provide necessary supports to the sales team for successful achievement of the business plan.
* Working closely with other teams in R&D, Marketing, Operations in respect of implementing the customer-driven strategies, or promotion campaigns, and other relevant activities.
* Responsible for building team structure & organization, and always having in mind succession planning for key potential individuals at every stage of the business.
* Managing the sales team by communicating clear job expectations, addressing arising issues, monitoring the team on weekly, quarterly and yearly performance.
* Providing sufficient training to sales teams, on both intensive or on-the-job training modules.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or other relevant courses.
* Having more than 8 years of experience in the FMCG/Consumer-driven industries with at least 2 years at the same level RSM or Senior ASM.
* Ability to work under aggressive sales targets & positive pressure, with a proven sales track record in the same industries.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills with extraordinary ability in negotiation, influence, and customer management.
* English reading & writing skills.
* People management skills, business-oriented mindset, entrepreneurship characteristics.
* Business traveling as required.
