As a Senior Java Developer, you will:
- Develop and maintain Java enterprise applications in collaboration with a skilled team.
- Be on standby for 24/7 customer support one week per month to assist with critical production issues.
- Frequently communicate with EU-based customers via email during support weeks.
- Work regular hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) except for support weeks.
Your Skills and Experience
Must-Haves:
- Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Critical and logical thinking, with the ability to solve problems independently.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Java and enterprise frameworks such as Java EE, Jakarta EE, Spring.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and SASS.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and familiarity with databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience deploying applications on JBoss, WildFly, WebSphere, WebLogic, or Tomcat.
- Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure.
