Research and Development Executive (Production Technology)

Vietnam Investment Group (VIG) is seeking for a Research and Development Executive (Production Technology) for a portfolio company - Vietnam Food (VNF).
Founded with the vision of creating positive impacts on by‐products treatment to build a new industry, Vietnam Food (VNF) is the pioneer in developing value‐added products from by‐products. VNF has achieved some milestones and has been leading the shrimp by‐product sector in Vietnam.
• Fast growth and high potential thanks to the huge volume of agriculture and aquaculture by‐products, which are nutritious but treated as waste.

Job description:
- Research the new technologies applied in the by-product processing industry in the world
- Research materials on new technologies, analyze, evaluate and summarize information
- Summarize the factory's existing technology and analyses the applicability of new technologies for the factory
- Organizing to deploy new technology, including:
(i) Planning; (ii) Implementation; (iii) Check and evaluate the process / results; (iv) Summarize and report the results
- Working with the technical departments (RD, equipment management, production dept. ...)
- Working with partners and new technologies suppliers (mostly foreign suppliers)
- Participate in researching and testing new technologies with technology institutes/ university and at the factory
