RESEARCHER JOB DESCRIPTION
Researcher works very closely with Research / Associates (Consultants) on pre-search, search execution and business development. Researchers are primarily responsible to perform research and collect contact lists and details for the team. Researchers play an important role during the course of each search and they are keys to the success of an assignment.
Below are the five main responsibilities:
Gather contact details based on criteria given by the team
Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates
Personal interview with qualified candidates
Produce necessary reports and supporting documents for candidate presentation
Manage the entire search process / client management
All Researchers are expected to handle candidates from different background and levels. Eventually when they are able to master different search skills, identify new clients and complete junior-level searches independently, they will be promoted to the position of Researchers/ Research Associate/ Consultants.
Research Associates are also earmarked for a promotion to be an Associate when it is proved that they can interact with and manage clients, lead assignments independently, and ultimately, complete a number of various assignments. Credits will also be allocated either as full or split.
There is no definite timeframe for promotions. It is completely based on performance, achievements, initiatives and teamwork.
Execution
Gather contact details based on criteria given by the team
Work very closely with the Research Associates/ Associates to "map out" the candidate universe and develop the job control for every assignment.
Maintain and update candidates' details, company profiles in system
Prepare candidate profiles
Organize assignment files
Develop new ideas and resources and make use of the technology including social networking sites, online forums etc to enhance search efficiency
Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates
Impression;
Personal interview with qualified candidates
Produce necessary reports and supporting documents for candidate presentation
Assess candidates based on their experience, achievements, strengths and weaknesses etc. to ensure they are the perfect fit for the position
Make sure the thoroughness and consistency of all information and details in presentations
Manage the entire search process / client management
Coordinate with clients and candidates to ensure effective communication
Assist in overall processing of the assignment with clear instructions/guidelines given by Associates

Assist Associates in training other Researchers
