‣ What You Will Be Doing:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead efforts to ensure infrastructure reliability, optimize deployment pipelines, and foster a culture of operational excellence. In addition to being hands-on, you will guide and mentor the team while collaborating with cross-functional groups to achieve platform goals.
‣ Leadership & Best Practices
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices for infrastructure and DevOps processes.
Establish and enforce standards for deployment, monitoring, and security across the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to align infrastructure goals with product objectives.
‣ Infrastructure & Operations
• Architect, design, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems (AWS, GCP).
• Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes Helm charts.
• Implement and manage GitOps tools like ArgoCD and GitHub Actions for seamless deployments.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments and minimal downtime.
• Build and optimize monitoring systems using Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, and similar tools.
• Design and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
‣ Development Responsibilities
• Deploy and manage microservices projects and build TypeScript applications using NestJS and NextJS.
• Work with the NestJS ecosystem, including Prisma, Redis, gRPC, and more.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to write and review high-quality, reusable code for internal tools and automation scripts.
• Develop APIs and backend services to integrate infrastructure operations with development workflows.
• Work with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and page builds in NextJS.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across infrastructure and application layers.
• Contribute to performance optimization and scalability efforts for critical services.
