SALES MANAGER (LOGISTICS)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Sales Managerwith a strong background in
Logistics and Freight Forwarding
to lead and develop our business operations in
Ho Chi Minh City
. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, managing and developing the Sales team, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
1. Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies for a range of logistics and freight forwarding services, including:
International Sea Freight and Air Freight.
Domestic Transportation.
Customs Clearance.
Trucking and other related logistics services.
Develop and implement sales plans, revenue targets, profit objectives, and customer development strategies.
Lead, manage, and develop the Logistics Sales team.
Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide guidance and support to ensure sales targets are achieved.
Conduct training, coaching, and performance development for Sales team members.
Work closely with the
Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams
to develop competitive solutions and quotations for customers.
Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
Take responsibility for both individual sales performance and the overall business results of the Sales team.
Prepare regular sales reports and report directly to the Management Board.
2. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Logistics, International Trade, International Business, Business Administration
, or a related field.
At least
5 years of experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding
, including a minimum of
2 years in a managerial or equivalent leadership position
.
Strong knowledge of the international transportation and logistics market.
An existing customer network or client database within the industry is a strong advantage.
Proven experience in managing, coaching, and developing a Sales team.
Strong business planning, sales management, and KPI monitoring skills.
Excellent negotiation, deal-closing, and problem-solving skills.
Good English communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with international customers and partners.
Results-oriented, proactive, highly motivated, and able to perform well under pressure.
3. Benefits
Basic salary: VND 35 - 40 million per month
