Mô tả công việc
• Be able to manage a budget, and able to achieve the budgeted departmental sales and sales goals.
• Co-ordinate and handle MICE and event enquiries verbally, in writing, and personally with the customer, and follow-up with customer post-event. For example, thank-you letter and comment card form is sent out 24 hours after function, and follow-up call made to solicit further business.
• Meet prospective clients and regular clients for site inspections to show them the hotel rooms and banqueting facilities as required.
• Fully discuss all details of a function with the client in order to ensure the smooth running of a function. Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well organized manner.
• Liaise between Sales, and Account managers and customers through the event sales process.
• Be familiar and have knowledge on all departments within the hotel.
• Have knowledge on menu planning and food preparation, and ensure the Head Chef has all Banqueting Menus prior to a function and that any subsequent changes in content or number are reported to him as soon as known.
• Effectively manage events and groups and integrate teams to successfully carry them out.
• Be aware of competitor conference and banqueting facilities and make regular visits to their hotels.
• Be aware of competitor price structure and evaluate our own prices on a quarterly basis.
• Assist the Director of Sales with the compilation of the Banqueting budget and be fully conversant with it.
• Understand group and catering cost forecasting, and be able to manage the hotel inventory.
• Satisfy the objectives of any plans and actions agreed with the Director of Event Management.

Yêu cầu công việc
Perfectly bilingual English and Vietnamese in both written and spoken
Creative, well organized, willing to work under high pressure
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point and Opera system)
Good management skills
College or bachelor degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
A minimum five-year experience in the hospitality industry
Three year in a similar position in requested business segment within a luxury brand
Creative, well organized, willing to work under high pressure
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point and Opera system)
Good management skills
College or bachelor degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
A minimum five-year experience in the hospitality industry
Three year in a similar position in requested business segment within a luxury brand
