Sales Support Officer (Planner At BU)

Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating demand and supply planning activities to ensure optimal inventory levels, timely order fulfillment, and efficient replenishment. The role collaborates closely with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to align supply with customer demand, minimize stock-outs and excess inventory, maintain accurate planning data in SAP, monitor planning KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning: Collect demand forecasts from the Sales team, review and upload them into SAP, conduct the Monthly Demand & Supply Review, and analyze forecast accuracy and bias to identify and implement improvement actions. (20%)
- Supply Planning: Calculate and propose purchase order quantities, obtain Sales confirmation, and create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in SAP to support timely replenishment. (50%)
- Inventory Optimization: Maintain inventory levels in accordance with the company's stock coverage policy by monitoring inventory, adjusting purchase orders based on demand changes, and coordinating internal stock transfers across warehouses; monitor and drive action plans to reduce provision, aging, blocked, and expired inventory. (15%)
- Reports: Prepare and manage reports for internal and external stakeholders, including supplier purchase forecasts, sales and delivery performance, and inventory reports. (10%)
- Master data Management: Maintain SAP planning master data and parameters to ensure accurate planning, and extract and analyze system data to support planning decisions. (5%)
