SAP FICO Consultant (S/4HANA)

Job Purpose:
To support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. As a key member of the ERP team, the SAP FI/CO Consultant will ensure that financial processes within the SAP system run smoothly, are accurately configured, and align with the organization's business needs and relevant accounting standards. This role involves collaborating with finance users, understanding their requirements, translating them into SAP solutions, and providing ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
Implementation &
Configuration:
Participate in SAP module implementation projects, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring the SAP system, and performing unit and integration testing.
System Maintenance &
Support: Provide ongoing support for the modules, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, performing system monitoring, and applying necessary patches and updates.
Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand their business processes and identify opportunities to optimize them through the modules functionalities.
Customization &
Enhancements: Assist in the design and implementation of customizations and enhancements to the SAP FI/CO modules to meet specific business requirements.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to modules configurations, processes, and user guides.
User Training: Develop and deliver training to end-users on SAP FI/CO/MM functionalities and best practices.
Data Management: Support data migration and data cleansing activities related to SAP FI/CO modules.
Compliance &
Audit Support: Ensure SAP FI/CO configurations comply with relevant accounting standards (VAS is a plus) and support internal and external audits by providing necessary information and system access.
Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the ERP team (e.g., SD, MM, PP consultants) and external consultants as needed to ensure seamless integration across modules.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP FI/CO functionalities, industry best practices, and technological advancements to recommend and implement improvements to the system.
Qualifications:
2 - 3 years of working experience with SAP FI/CO module, including configuration and support, OR equivalent experience in a finance-related ERP support role.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or Other SAP version
Familiarity with accounting standards; knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) is considered a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of integration points between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM).
Experience with report creation and analysis using SAP or related tools.
Participation in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
