School Service Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
1. Manage the School Bus Service
● Coordinating/supervising groups to pick up and drop off students on the bus at the pick-up
and drop-off area;
● Work with relevant departments to update bus-related data. (Control the problem of absent
children / children, supplement and update bus records...);
● Check the number of students getting on/off the bus before going to class or getting on the
bus;
● Solve problems arising to the bus;
● Coordinating/supervising drivers and monitors at student pick-up/drop-off points;
● Manage the drivers' and monitors' working attitude and punctuality;
● Instruct, train, supervise, check the process, regulations for transporting students by bus once
a month for Monitors;
● Time management / implementation of monthly attendance for bus monitors;
● Coordinate and train back-up staff to support Monitor (when any arise);
● Ensure that the buses are clean and safe;
● Inform the parents about picking-up and dropping-off time;
● Report the number of students taking the bus daily to the Registrar & Head of Department;
● Report the students' disciplines on the bus: getting on the bus late, having inappropriate
behaviors on the bus (talking too much, fighting, eating on the bus, ..);
● Comply with the school's bus pick-up/drop-off procedures and regulations.
2. Manage the School's Canteen
● Budget planning and cost estimates related to the company operating the kitchen on a
monthly and yearly basis;
● Coordinate with the menu itself (quantity and cost) in meals for Students and Teachers;
● Work with suppliers to perform unscheduled inspection of food goods;
● Manage kitchen team, schedule supervision;
● Compare meals, confirm debts with suppliers & send information to accountants for
accountants to issue invoices to parents;
● Control budget and report food expenses of students and staff to the Head of Department;
● Receive questions from parents on issues related to the kitchen and provide information to
manufacturers to give feedback to parents;
● Update the menu for students weekly and send it to the Customer Service Officer;
● Update report: three steps check the book, food source;
● Working with state agencies on food safety inspection and other related issues;
● Looking for other vendor for backup;
● Perform other tasks related to the position of responsibility.
