Security Manager- Vietnam

As part of our continued expansion in Phu Quoc Vietnam, we are seeking an experienced
Security Manager
to lead and oversee all security and safety operations across our Phu Quoc venues.
The Security Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, assets and operations while ensuring that security practices are aligned with luxury hospitality standards. The role will play a key part in the pre-opening phase, establishing security procedures, emergency protocols and operational standards before the venues open.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience within a luxury hotel, resort, beach club, restaurant or large-scale hospitality environment, with excellent knowledge of security operations, risk management and emergency respons
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all security operations across the assigned venues and facilities.
Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures and operating standards.
Establish security protocols and procedures as part of the pre-opening phase.
Manage, train and develop the security team to ensure professional and consistent performance.
Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, company assets and premises.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and identify potential operational risks and vulnerabilities.
Coordinate access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, incident response and key control procedures.
Develop and maintain emergency response, evacuation and crisis management procedures.
Coordinate with local authorities, police, fire services and other relevant government agencies when required.
Manage incidents professionally and ensure accurate reporting and follow-up investigations.
Work closely with Operations, HR, Engineering and senior management on health, safety and security matters.
Support crowd management and security planning for VIP visits, events, large gatherings and high-profile functions.
Ensure appropriate security coverage during peak operating periods and special events.
Monitor security equipment and systems and coordinate with Engineering and external providers on maintenance and improvements.
Conduct regular security briefings, drills and training for the security team and relevant operational departments.
Maintain detailed security records, incident reports, risk assessments and compliance documentation.
Ensure all security practices comply with applicable Vietnamese laws and local regulations.
Promote a security-conscious culture while maintaining a warm, discreet and guest-focused hospitality environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 3 years of security management experience, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, beach clubs, restaurants or lifestyle hospitality.
Proven experience managing a security team in a high-volume hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, emergency response, crisis management and incident investigation.
Previous pre-opening experience in hospitality is highly preferred.
Experience working with local authorities, emergency services and government agencies.
Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, crowd management and security systems.
Good command of English; Vietnamese language skills and knowledge of local security regulations are highly advantageous.
Professional, discreet and guest-focused approach, with the ability to balance effective security with luxury hospitality standards.
Flexible and hands-on, with the ability to work in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
