Crossian is looking for a detail-oriented Senior level accountant to support the Accounting department with thought leadership, promote cross departmental process improvements and perform and review monthly close duties.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Accounting & Tax Compliance
- Perform general accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Execute month-end procedures, including preparation and posting of journal entries in compliance with U.S. GAAP and VAS.
- Review and analyze financial statement accounts, investigating unusual variances to ensure accuracy of transactions and balances.
- Manage Vietnam tax compliance, including VAT, CIT, PIT, and FCT filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Oversee US tax compliance, including Sales Tax and Corporate Income Tax (federal and state) for US entities.
- Handle Transfer Pricing documentation and manage related party transaction disclosures.
Tax Advisory & Audit Management
- Lead tax audits and inspections; act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external consultants.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on cross-border tax matters, intercompany transactions, and regulatory updates.
- Monitor global tax updates and advise management on tax risks, incentives, and optimization strategies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or higher; CPA or ACCA is a significant plus.
- Professional Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Accounting; Strong command of Vietnamese Tax Laws and US Sales Tax (Nexus rules) is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of VAS/GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP is highly desirable.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in E-commerce, fast-growth retail, or international work environments is a major asset.
- Language & Tools: Professional English proficiency; Advanced Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of BI tools is an advantage.
- Analytical Excellence: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Growth & Efficiency: A "Think Big" mindset with a keen eye for process improvement to drive organizational growth.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and quickly master new accounting/tax concepts.
