Senior Accountant, Vietnam

The Role
This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of AR and GL for the assigned portfolio in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for timely and accurate in preparation and issuing of billings to tenants /keying of Accounts Receivable receipts and daily transaction following AR SOP.
* Managing the daily financial operations as well as preparing accrual/reversal and inputting all GL transactions for closing.
* Ensuring timely month-end closing, inter-company reconciliation, preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly management reporting, monthly bank reconciliation and audit schedules.
* Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT reporting.
* You will also ensure timely preparation of full set of financial statements for audit of the portfolio of entities under your purview, overseeing the audit process, and ensure timely submission to the relevant statutory bodies.
* Handling of corporate income tax including preparation of tax computation or working closely with the tax consultant on tax computation and attending to tax queries from the tax consultant or tax authority.
* Budgeting & forecasting for the portfolio of entities under your purview.
* Other responsibilities include internal control and compliance roles in respect of delegation of authority and other internal policies and SOPs.
* Involve in ad-hoc accounting/admin assignments as and when required.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant hands-on AR and GL experience.
* Good knowledge of FRS and Companies Act.
* Proficient in MS Excel.
* Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous.
* Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
