Senior Accounting Officer

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Dong Da District)
Reports to:Assistant Accounting & Support Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Accounting Officer plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization. They are responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supporting the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
● Financial Reporting:
○ Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
○ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards.
● Budgeting and Forecasting:
○ Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
○ Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.
● General Ledger Management:
○ Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger adjustments.
○ Ensure the accuracy of financial data and account balances.
● Tax Compliance:
○ Oversee and manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other applicable taxes.
○ Coordinate with tax authorities and ensure timely submissions.
● Audit Support:
○ Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
○ Provide required documentation and explanations to auditors.
● Financial Analysis:
○ Perform financial analysis and provide insights into cost management and revenue generation.
○ Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement.
● Regulatory Compliance:
○ Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements in Vietnam.
● Team Leadership:
○ Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring their professional development and growth.
