Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Control Engineer to lead the development and execution of automated testing frameworks for mobile applications (native and Flutter) and web platforms (frontend and backend). The ideal candidate ensures commitments are realistic, understands priority and urgency, and delivers results accordingly. They proactively anticipate and communicate blockers, delays, and risks to cost or timeline before they require escalation. Strong English communication skills and an ability to manage expectations effectively within the team are critical. Knowledge of embedded systems testing is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Automation Development:
- Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.
- Understanding the embedded domain is a big plus.
- Write clear, reusable automated test scripts to cover regression, smoke, and main user flows.
- Have a long-term strategy to test End-to-End automation.

Proactive Communication:
- Anticipate and communicate blockers, delays, and cost implications to stakeholders before escalation is necessary.
- Provide timely and clear updates on task progress and testing outcomes.
- Ensure all commitments are feasible and aligned with project timelines.

Collaboration and Expectation Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify expectations and deliverables for all testing-related tasks.
- Participate in planning sessions to ensure alignment on timelines and priorities.

Tool Selection and Maintenance:
- Evaluate, select, and implement the best automation tools for mobile and web testing.
- Set up and maintain test environments and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Document test plans, processes, and results in professional English.
- Regularly report progress and quality metrics to stakeholders and team leads.

Embedded Systems Testing (Optional):
- Contribute to testing embedded systems and IoT devices, focusing on integration with mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing for mobile and web applications.
- Proven ability to deliver on-time results while managing competing priorities.
- Familiarity with native and Flutter mobile apps and web frontend/backend systems.
- Exposure to embedded systems testing is a plus.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Others.
- Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).

Language Skills:
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to clearly convey risks, delays, and expectations to global teams.

Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Strong collaboration and team alignment capabilities.
- Ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with embedded systems testing and hardware-software integration.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
- Experience in Agile and sprint-based workflows.
