Senior Back-End Developer

We are currently looking for a senior back-end developer with at least 4+ years in commercial development. The successful candidate will join the back-end development team to lead and support several projects. You will be second to the team leader and have an enviable position in the company to influence and help shape and mould the technology choices that our team utilise.
You will help drive the evolution of practices and methodologies within our multidisciplinary tech team. The right candidate will have a strong drive to improve both themselves and those around them, balancing processes and freedom to bring out the best work in themselves and the wider team.
You will have developed strong ideals on development, but also are aware and capable of adjusting those ideals to fit the requirements and needs of different projects. There is a portion of DevOps involved with this role, the split being roughly 70-80% Program Development and 20-30% DevOps Management.
We have a huge drive for Test-Driven development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Pull Requests, but desire to keep our methodologies and processes agile and appropriate for each project.
