Job Description
Position Overview:
At Chợ Tốt, we aspire to make secondhand the first choice - building a reliable, effective re-commerce platform for millions of Vietnamese to buy and sell used items. Autos (VEH) and Goods (GDS) - spanning automotives, electronics, home appliances, pets, fashion & accessories, and more - sit at the centre of that mission. They are where our most ambitious sellers operate, where market health is most visible, and where our monetisation model is being reshaped for the next phase of growth.
You will work side-by-side with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Tech, and Data to drive supply and revenue for the Autos and Goods verticals (pricing, offerings, premium feature adoption, monetisation experiments).
Responsibilities:
Co-own VEH and GDS strategy. Help shape annual and quarterly planning across both verticals - connecting seller success to revenue outcomes, not treating them as separate goals.
Drive market health. Monitor supply-demand balance, listing quality, buyer-seller matching, and seller retention. Spot leading indicators of category fatigue or stagnation before they show up in revenue, and bring solutions - not just slides - to the table.
Run monetisation as a product, not a tax. Research, design, and run experiments on premium packages, pricing, new monetisation schemes and Go-To-Market campaigns. Measure adoption, willingness-to-pay, and downstream effect on seller success - and have the discipline to kill what doesn't work.
Drive deep segmentation work. Build a sharp segmentation of sellers across VEH and GDS (dealers vs. C2C, power sellers, the Business Owner segment, new sellers, churn-risk sellers), and turn each segment into a clear playbook for Product, Commercial, and Marketing.
Be the data-informed voice in product discovery. Work with Product from problem definition through ideation, A/B test design, results analysis, and post-launch optimisation. Push back when the data doesn't support the roadmap.
Talk to users - frequently. Combine quantitative depth with qualitative texture. Run seller interviews, sit with the Commercial team, watch real listings being posted. Bring back insight that data alone cannot produce.
Partner with Commercial, maximise adoption of premium offerings in target segments. Own the analysis loop that closes the gap between what we ship and what sellers actually use and pay for.
Operate at AI-native leverage. Use BigQuery, SQL, Claude / agentic tools, and automation to compress the time from question to insight. Build re-usable dashboards, queries, and scheduled reports instead of repeating manual pulls.
Deliver the cadence. Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, market-health and Go-To-Market reporting that leadership can act on - concise narratives, not data dumps. Plus the ad-hoc projects that come with operating a vertical of this scale.
Qualifications
Experience &
• Domain Knowledge:
2+ years of experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, or classified platforms. Familiarity with the Vietnamese automotive or consumer-goods market is a plus.
Data Analytics &
• Tools:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in SQL/BigQuery for data extraction, Excel/Google Sheets, and building self-serve dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google App Script).
Monetization &
• Experimentation:
Proven track record in designing, executing, and analyzing end-to-end monetization or pricing experiments.
AI &
• Automation Mindset with a proven track record.
Ownership Experience: Independently driving multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end - defining scope, managing competing priorities, and delivering results without micro-management.
Communication &
• Professional Standards:
Fluent in English and Vietnamese. High attention to detail, particularly in data reporting for leadership decision-making.
