Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Azure infrastructure (Landing Zone, Hub-Spoke) for scalability and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (or Terragrunt).
- Implement and manage secure access controls, including SSO, MFA, Entra ID Connect, and cross-tenant sync.
- Manage network configurations: subnetting, VPN, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto, Azure Firewall).
- Deploy and manage Azure PaaS services: Function Apps, App Services, SQL Databases, Key Vaults, App Configuration, Storage Accounts.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance with security frameworks and data protection regulations.
- Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Policy for performance and cost optimization.
- Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across Azure services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure application integration with Azure services.
- Participate in on-call support rotations.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, CI/CD tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Deep understanding of Azure networking, including Landing Zone, Hub-Spoke, VPN, and Virtual WAN.
- Proven experience with firewalls: Fortigate, Palo Alto, Azure-native solutions.
- Proficiency with Azure identity services, especially Entra ID Connect and hybrid identity.
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Policy.
- Experience with CI/CD systems: Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, Administrator Associate) and understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security compliance requirements are big bonuses.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively in English to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
