MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Execute and maintain oversight of operational tasks related to compensation, benefits, mandatory insurance, Personal Income Tax (PIT), and employee records, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and strict compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
Serve as the SME for the C&B function. Proactively analyze data, propose solutions, and assist the
HR Manager (HRM) in formulating and implementing total rewards policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data, reports, and insights, driving cost-management efficiency and enhancing the overall employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. C&B System Operations
- Build and update salary structures by job tier/title; analyze market and internal data to propose policy adjustments for HRM approval.
- Coordinate the performance review process and consolidate evaluation results as a baseline for
performance bonus and merit increase proposals.
- Monitor policy implementation, gather feedback, and recommend continuous improvements.
2. Payroll & Bonus Calculation
- Consolidate and reconcile data (timekeeping, leaves, overtime, personnel changes) alongside bonus schedules; execute accurate and timely payroll and bonus disbursements.
- Issue payslips and resolve employee inquiries regarding compensation.
3. Statutory Insurance, PIT, & Labor Compliance
- Execute all statutory insurance (SI/HI/UI) and PIT administration (registrations, status updates,
declarations, annual finalizations, and benefit claims).
- Draft and update C&B policy documents and employee benefit guidelines under the direction of the HRM/Board of Directors.
- Prepare audit files, compliance reports, and explanations for government authorities; actively track and adapt to legislative updates.
4. Personnel Records & HR Services
- Draft and manage employment contracts, addendums, personnel decisions, and employee master files; process HR movements (transfers, promotions, separations, etc.).
- Handle initial employee grievances regarding C&B; escalate complex issues to the HRM.
- Propose, negotiate, and manage HR and benefit vendors within delegated authority.
5. Data Management, Reporting, & Internal Control
- Maintain and audit HR/payroll database integrity; generate standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Enforce internal control frameworks established by the HRM; contribute ideas to optimize C&B tools and workflows.
6. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the HRM and CEO.
Note Office Location: Currently based at Bluesky 3 Building, No. 1 Bach Dang Street, Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The company is scheduled to relocate to the Sala area (former District 2) from October 2026.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, including at least 3 years in a Specialist capacity.
- Experience in Commercial and Manufacturing is a big plus.
- Proven track record of end-to-end operational experience in payroll processing, PIT declaration/finalization, and statutory insurance (SI/HI/UI).
- In-depth working knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law, personal tax regulations, and core HR operational practices.
- Strong analytical and numerical aptitude, capable of interpreting data to drive actionable business
recommendations.
- Meticulous accuracy with the ability to maintain composure and precision under recurring deadline pressures
- Good communication skills; confident working with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners/vendors.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; hands-on experience with HRIS platforms or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling highly confidential payroll and personal data.
- Proactive and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership, comfortable operating independently without close supervision.
