Senior Customs Declaration Specialist (Remote)

Education & Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above in Customs, Import-Export, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Possession of a customs declaration certificate or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam's customs regulations, import/export procedures, HS code classification, customs valuation, and import/export tax regulations.
• Good understanding of customs declaration and clearance procedures for different categories of goods.
Work Experience
• At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in customs declaration and customs clearance, preferably in a similar senior-level position.
• Proven experience in independently handling the full customs declaration and clearance process in Vietnam.
• Experience handling customs procedures for cosmetics, electronics, machinery, or other regulated/commercial goods is highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with customs authorities and handling customs inspections, document amendments, HS code disputes, customs valuation issues, and other clearance exceptions is preferred.
Professional Skills
• Proficient in Vietnam's official electronic customs declaration system and relevant customs declaration software.
• Able to independently complete customs declaration, document preparation, submission, customs review, follow-up, and clearance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese import/export regulations and customs compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and on-site coordination skills, with the ability to handle unexpected customs clearance issues independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good Chinese communication skills are required; able to communicate effectively with Chinese clients and colleagues in daily work. English is an advantage.
