Senior Director Logistics
Job description
The overall aim of the Logistics function in BillerudKorsnäs is to take full responsibility for the logistic flow, from mill to final destination. The team consists of approximately 40 managers and employees spread across our offices in Sweden. The organization is focusing on all part of the logistic value chain, from strategic infrastructure and sourcing to operational logistic planning. The reliability of the provided services is crucial, and the team operates by the overall motto "Promise what we can keep and keep what we have promised"
As our next Senior Director Logistics you will have the overall responsibility to develop and manage logistic solutions for our products to operate the most reliable, pro-active and efficient supply chain in the industry. You will be responsible for the logistics function and make sure the work is performed efficiently and with the right competence and resources in place. This role reports to Vice President Supply Chain and is placed in our head office in Solna or at one of our mills in Sweden.
Your main duties will be to:
- Define, execute and cascade the BillerudKorsnäs logistic strategy in alignment with the overall Group strategy and objectives.
- Ensure that risk analysis in connection to transport of product materials from the mills is continuously updated and that mitigating actions are implemented.
- Monitor the business plan and budget. Communicate and steer financial and operational targets for the logistics organization.
- Ensure that Logistics has as an efficient and effective organization.
- Successfully lead the Logistics Management team and ensure that the Logistics organization applies agreed Group processes (the BillerudKorsnäs Way-of-Working) where applicable.
- Actively participate in the Supply Chain Leadership Team and maintain a Group perspective.
- Be an ambassador of BillerudKorsnäs in external settings.
Qualifications
- A University Degree in Logistics, MSc, BA or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in logistics in a global context
- Minimum 5 years of significant responsibility for staff
- Proven strong track record of managing change in cross-divisional organizations
- Experience within pulp/paper/packaging is an advantage but not a must
Personal qualities

Finally, you are a strong collaborator with a "team before self" approach, you are down-to-earth and you have a non-prestigious attitude.
