Mô tả công việc
MỤC ĐÍCH CÔNG VIỆC/ JOB PURPOSE
Act as the technical control point between the Design Consultant and the Installation Contractor(s) for ICT systems, ensuring what gets installed matches what was designed - and that both parties deliver against schedule, scope, and standard. This role does not design or install systems; it verifies, controls, coordinates, and manages the interface between those who do. Responsible for catching gaps, conflicts, and non-conformances before they become costly rework, and for keeping the ICT Director informed with accurate technical status.
TRÁCH NHIỆM CHÍNH/ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Review and verify designer-issued IFC drawings, cable schedules, rack elevations, and BoQs for completeness and internal consistency before release to the installer
• Confirm installer's work-in-progress matches issued design; flag deviations, omissions, or field conditions that require designer clarification or formal design change
• Act as the formal channel for RFIs (Requests for Information) between installer and designer - logging, tracking, and closing them within schedule targets
• Monitor installer compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and relevant standards (TIA/ISO, BICSI, IATA/ICAO where applicable) - without personally performing installation
• Witness or audit inspection/test hold points (containment, cabling, termination, rack build) carried out by installer
• Review installer-submitted test results (OTDR, copper certification, system test reports) for compliance against design pass/fail criteria; reject and require re-test where results are inadequate
• Track installer progress against the ICT schedule; identify slippage risk and escalate with technical justification
• Review and endorse (or reject) installer technical submittals, method statements, and material submittals before designer/client approval
• Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) logistics between vendor, designer, and installer, attending as the client/PM-side technical representative
• Assess technical impact of site-driven variations or installer-proposed deviations, and route them through the designer for formal resolution
• Maintain a technical issues/risk log specific to ICT systems, feeding into the Delivery Manager's overall risk register
• Prevent scope/interpretation gaps between design intent and installed reality by maintaining a single source of technical truth (drawing register, RFI log, NCR log)
• Coordinate (not execute) integrated systems testing (IST) between installer, designer, and other disciplines (BHS, security, BMS)
• Verify commissioning documentation and test packs are complete, correctly signed off, and traceable before accepting handover from installer
• Confirm as-built drawings from the designer/installer accurately reflect the final installed condition
• Produce technical status reports for the ICT Director: RFI/NCR status, test pass/fail rates, submittal turnaround, schedule risk
• Represent ICT technical status in site coordination meetings
