Senior Information Technology Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project scope and objectives.
Assist in defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring realistic planning and execution.
Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and areas requiring optimization.
Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and solutions.
Participate in regular team meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and project reviews.
Ensure deliverables meet business needs by assisting in testing phases, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validation of requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to project requirements or scope changes.
Suggest process improvements and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a focus on web and software development projects.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
Experience in creating and managing BRDs, user stories, and functional documentation.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, [protected info], or similar project management platforms.
Proficiency in creating Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, wireframing, and prototyping.
Understanding of data analysis tools and techniques for reporting and decision-making.
Practical experience integrating LLMs / AI tools into your daily workflows.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with professional-level English proficiency.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, with excellent time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements effectively.
