Senior Java Developer Spring, MySQL, Hibernate

The Role:

The incumbent is responsible assisting the IT head or team in the facilitation, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of each marketing project for the business need; while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

The position requires strong attention to detail, operational task management and problem- solving ability.

1. Maintain high quality of products with participation in code review and design reviews.
2. Build high quality products and contribute important impacts on our product roadmap planning.
3. Propose and implement solutions/product with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Spring, Python and Shell Scripts
4. Provider guidance to Junior and suggestion to other colleagues with deep understanding of technology stacks
5. Propose better software architecture with the right design pattern for a suitable situation.
6. Provide in depth support to Technical Support Analyst
7. Work with front end team to build a high perform, user friendly and stable web product.
8. Solving puzzles from clients' feedback and logs to find out the real cause.
9. Research on up-to-date technology stacks to continue bring better performance and higher quality products to stakeholders.
10. Write down documentation for different technology and knowledge to share knowledge among everyone.
11. Provide insight for database performance and stability.

1. Diploma / Bachelor's Degree / Professional Certificates in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering, etc)
2. From 7 years - 12 years+ of relevant experience in Java web development.
3. Familiar with Java, JavaScript, SQL and Shell Scripts.
4. Have experience in guiding or mentoring juniors/freshers
5. Candidate should possess a good understanding of and practical experience with Java Web based application development.
6. Strong Java skills and object-oriented design experience, and design patterns.
7. Experience in using Spring & Hibernate in programming works are highly preferred.
8. Familiar with Unix/Linux environment.
9. Familiar with different source control tools.
10. Good knowledge with microservices is an added advantage.
11. Experience in database performance tuning and query enhancement is an added advantage.
12. Experience in dev-ops relevant tasks is an added advantage.
13. Knowledge on Billing/charging interface/API is an added advantage.
14. Ability to work with customers and identify adoption barriers and put forth plans to address these issues.
15. Excellent analytical, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.
16. Willing to go extra mile to get job done at high standard.
