Senior Java Developer

Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
Develop and maintain Java Enterprise applications, ensuring system stability, reliability, and performance.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, including reviewing and modifying existing source code.
Design and optimize Oracle database solutions, including SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, and data processing.
Develop and maintain batch jobs and batch processing workflows using technologies such as Quartz Scheduler.
Implement and maintain workflow and business process automation solutions.
Support system integration and data processing across enterprise applications.
Perform performance tuning and continuously improve application and database efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to software development best practices.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Java.
Strong experience with Java Enterprise development, including analyzing, troubleshooting, modifying, and maintaining existing applications.
Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, including SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Performance Tuning, and Data Processing.
Hands-on experience with Batch Jobs, Batch Processing, and Quartz Scheduler.
Good understanding of Workflow and Business Process Automation.
Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical and structured approach to troubleshooting.
Good ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Experience with Data Migration or ETL is a plus.
Experience with API and enterprise system integration is a plus.
Previous experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Banking is an advantage.
