Senior/Lead AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead AI Engineer to drive key AI initiatives at scale. Depending on your expertise, you may focus on Computer Vision & Multimodal AI or Large Language Models & Generative AI.
As a Senior/Lead AI Engineer at MoMo, you will focus on one of the following tracks depending on your expertise:

1, Vision & Multimodal Models

• Design, train, and evaluate large Vision-Language Models (VLMs) tailored for Vietnamese and AI applications.
• Build scalable data pipelines and benchmark models against global datasets.
• Lead the development of face liveness detection and anti-spoofing models.
• Mentor and upskill team members to develop technical depth and independence.

2, Architect end-to-end generative AI solutions including Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal AI systems, and AI-powered applications

• Design and implement scalable generative AI systems leveraging state-of-the-art models such as GPT, Claude, Llama, and other foundation models
• Build production-ready generative AI products including conversational AI, content generation, code generation, and intelligent automation systems
• Develop and optimize LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and model alignment techniques
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver complete AI solutions
• Establish MLOps practices for generative AI including model versioning, A/B testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in generative AI best practices and emerging technologies
• Research and evaluate new generative AI techniques, tools, and frameworks to maintain competitive advantage
• Ensure responsible AI practices including safety, fairness, privacy, and ethical considerations in all AI systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years specializing in one of the following tracks:
• Computer Vision/Multimodal AI (face recognition, VLMs, anti-spoofing, generative CV), OR
• Large Language Models/Generative AI (transformer-based LLMs, RAG, conversational AI).
• Strong programming skills in Python, proficiency with PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain, or other modern AI frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI models at scale on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Preferred:
• Achievements in AI competitions (e.g., Kaggle medalist).
• Proven track record of building AI products serving millions of users.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
