Senior Legal Counsel

As a Senior Legal Counsel, he/she will:
• Advise the Company concerning Vietnamese laws and legal requirements required for or in relation to the business and operations, as well as the Company's legal rights and obligations with regard to any legal or regulatory requirement. Accordingly, analyze the probable outcomes of legal requirements and make relevant recommendations for the best benefits of the Company.
• Advise the Company concerning business and commercial transactions, procurement contracts, and other contracts and agreements in normal course of the business; and ensuring and managing the compliance thereof;
• Advise the Company on potential or actual contractual claims and liabilities, possibilities of prosecuting or defending lawsuits and/or otherwise proceedings, and legal rights and obligations of the Company in such contractual claims or disputes and related proceedings. Accordingly, manage disputes and claims as assigned;
• Advise the Company on potential or actual administrative inspections, sanctions, actions, audits, and/or otherwise proceedings, possibilities of remedy and/or solutions for the Company and make relevant recommendation therefor. Accordingly, manage such legal proceedings as assigned;
• Advise and provide support in dealing and working with Government and relevant State bodies/ agencies/ authorities to the extent of his/her responsibilities and accountabilities;
• Identify and advise on any legal risk or exposure, findings and recommendations therefor, as well as follow up on remedy or mitigation. Manage legal and compliance risks so to optimize the business;
• Managing and supervising the performance of relevant team members as assigned;
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the position where assigned;
• Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time in relation to the position;
• When required and as assigned, represent, defend and act for the Company in relevant legal proceedings.
