Senior Merchandiser (Garment Industry)

1. Order & Customer Management
Act as the key contact person with overseas buyers from sample development to bulk production.
Receive Tech Packs, BOM, and technical requirements, and coordinate with relevant departments (Sample Room, Technical, Planning, Production, QA, etc.).
Monitor the progress of sample development, PP samples, TOP samples, and shipment samples.
Provide regular order status updates to customers.
Handle issues arising during production and align solutions with buyers.
2. Costing & Negotiation
Analyze Tech Packs and collaborate with the costing team to ensure accurate pricing.
Work with fabric and trim suppliers to optimize price and lead time.
Negotiate pricing with buyers to achieve company margin targets.
Monitor and control order profitability.
3. Production & Material Control
Track fabric and trim ordering status and delivery timeline.
Coordinate with the planning team to ensure on-time production and shipment.
Proactively identify and manage risks related to lead time, quality, and technical changes.
4. Internal Coordination & Reporting
Lead pre-production risk assessment meetings.
Work closely with QA/QC to ensure compliance with customer standards.
Control and manage all order-related documents (PO, Contracts, Invoice, Packing List, etc.).
Report directly to the Merchandise Manager / Management Team.
Guide and support Junior Merchandisers (if any).
