Senior Metrology Engineer

1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences. The following specialisations in Engineering or Sciences are preferred: Optics/laser system engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Other relevant specialisations with the job.
2. Experience:
At least 5 years of related working experience in measurement systems at manufacturing environment. Preferable:
o Working experience in optics
o Optical communication and laser
o Optoelectronics related field
o Optical sub-assembly
o Optical component
o Optical modules development.
• Proven track record of design/develop optic measurement system.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.
3.Special abilities
• Experience in well-developed fault isolation, problem solving & analytical skills.
• Experience in methodisation and improvement of optical measurement system
• Experience in designing tools and fixture for optical testing systems.
• Experience in using SPC and other statistical methods.
• Experience in using AutoCAD (SolidWorks is an advantage)
• Ability to use English for Business communication.
• Mandarin as the 3rd language is an advantage.
• Jointly responsible for develop/ design/ qualify/ troubleshooting/ improvement/calibration regarding to optics testing/measurement systems.
• Contact with the sale, external vendors and other BUs
