As a core member of the QA Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and player experience of PixOn's puzzle and hybrid casual games. You will be responsible for testing features, validating level difficulty, verifying game logic, and maintaining a smooth gameplay experience across devices.
Functional & Gameplay Testing
- Test core mechanics, puzzle logic, controls, UI/UX, animations, and VFX.
- Validate level difficulty, pacing, fail-rate behavior, and game progression.
- Evaluate "Game Feel" (smoothness, haptics, audio sync) and provide feedback to improve player experience.
Ad Monetization, Economy & Analytics
- Test game economy, rewards, daily systems, and IAP flows.
- Ad Mediation: Verify integration of Ads SDKs (Rewarded, Interstitial, Banner) ensuring high stability and correct reward logic.
- Data Validation: Verify analytics events (Firebase, Adjust/AppsFlyer) to ensure data integrity for A/B testing, UA, and retention tracking.
Technical QA & Debugging
- Unity Editor: Utilize Unity to inspect basic assets, verify hierarchy, or assist developers in reproducing complex bugs.
- Log Capture: Capture logs (Logcat, Xcode) and crash dumps to facilitate faster debugging and issue resolution.
- Perform smoke tests on new builds and execute regression tests every sprint.
Bug Reporting & Documentation
- Submit clear, detailed bug reports with steps, logs, screenshots, and videos via Jira.
- Write and update test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
- Contribute to the QA knowledge base and internal documentation.
Device Compatibility & Performance
- Test across multiple devices, resolutions, and OS versions.
- Monitor FPS, memory usage, loading time, and overall app stability.
