OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
- Develop and manage demand generation execution plans and activities within the assigned territory with execution guide from Marketing team.
- Promote BASF products and build Farmer network.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
• Demand Creation and Supervision
- Plan and manage the implementation of demand creation activities, promotion and marketing activities, field demonstration in compliance with business / company goals & strategies, policies and legal obligations.
- Collaborate with the
Trade Marketing and Sales team to develop annual, seasonal, and monthly demand generation processes and plans for the territory in alignment with national strategic direction and regional objectives.
- Oversee the execution of demand generation activities within the territory.
- Conduct monthly, seasonal, and annual reviews of demand generation performance and provide feedback for the next cycle.
- Coordinate with customers on demand generation planning, execution, and review.
- Consolidate market intelligence such as crop area, PAT and PAT market share, etc., to support demand generation planning and execution. (PAT- measures the level of farmer adoption and usage of products in the market.).
• Retailer (C2) Activity Focus and Management:
- Drive C2 retailer engagement and activation within the territory to strengthen local demand generation and timely execution.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential C2 retailers for focused liquidation and demand creation activity.
- Provide prompt response and action regarding quality, technical applications and other related issues.
- Support retailer-level activities and product visibility at the retail level.
- Coordinate with C1 customers and Sales team to ensure C2 retailers receive timely stock allocation, POSM, and campaign materials.
- Track C2 sell-out performance and market intelligence (competitor activity, pricing, retailer feedback) to support territory demand generation planning.
- Degree, preferably in Agriculture or related fields.
- Min 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Practical understanding of the agricultural market, including farmers, distributors, and retail systems.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
