Hecny Group is looking for an experienced Senior Operations & Commercial Manager to support the management and growth of our Vietnam operations.
This position will work closely with GM and act as a key support to the leadership team, helping to oversee daily operations, support commercial decisions, and contribute to the continued development of our Vietnam business.
The role is ideal for a senior freight forwarding professional who understands both operations and commercial aspects of logistics and is ready to take on broader responsibility in managing the office."
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
• Oversee daily freight forwarding operations and ensure smooth shipment execution
• Coordinate closely with origin, destination, and overseas offices
• Resolve operational challenges and escalations
• Ensure high service quality and operational efficiency
• Support implementation of operational procedures and improvements
Commercial & Pricing Support
• Support commercial decisions including pricing, routing, and carrier selection
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to obtain competitive freight rates
• Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and logistics solutions
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer development
Business Development Support
• Work together with management to strengthen and expand Hecny Group's presence in Vietnam
• Support development of new customers and trade lanes
• Identify opportunities to improve services and operational performance
Projects & Office Management
• Lead and support internal projects to improve processes and efficiency
• Assist in managing day-to-day office operations
• Coordinate initiatives across operations, commercial, and overseas teams
• Work together with the GM to setup new business lane in high valuable shipments.
