The Senior PHP Developer role is responsible for performing software development duties throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior PHP Developer is required to evaluate business and functional requirements and transform those requirements into working web-based applications.
The person will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. scrum masters, project managers, architects, business analysts, etc.) to ensure that stakeholders' requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner according to the product roadmap while providing adequate support and documentation.
The successful Senior PHP Developer must be able to work with minimal or no supervision on large and multiple concurrent projects and to coordinate the work of applications.

* Responsibilities
● Work closely with product managers and engineers and designers to develop awesome products
● Take part in discussions and timely SCRUM meetings with regards to estimation, defining solutions and architecture design
● Innovate and implement new features, writing code that's easy to read, change and test
● Create shared understanding within and between teams through clear, concise documentation and communications.
● Work on the infrastructure, architecture, and services that support our operations
● Design, implement, test, and support features to provide new functionality
● Introduce ongoing systems optimization by implementing good quality code
* Requirements
● Software development experience in PHP
● Knowledge of the MVC structure and have worked with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony/Zend/Codeigniter
● Adherence to OOP, SOA, SOLID Principles/ Design Patterns, TDD (Software Development), PSR (PHP Standards), use namespacing and best practices
● Excellent experience with Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP/LEMP) architecture
● Good knowledge of relational databases with ability to design and write raw and optimized MySQL queries
● Solid, demonstrable knowledge of web technologies, output, and languages, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
● Experience with front-end Javascript frameworks such as Bootstrap/Angular/React etc is a plus
● Experience with third-party APIs and development of RESTful APIs
● Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
● Ability to work individually and with managers and creative teams while involved with AGILE SCRUM software development life cycle
● Experience with cross-browser compatibility and cross-platform testing
● Deep understanding of web standards and best practices
