JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Process Development and Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and improve electroless nickel plating processes to meet customer and project requirements.
- Optimize bath compositions, operating parameters, and plating techniques to achieve desired thickness, hardness, adhesion, and corrosion resistance.
- Conduct experiments to identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain bath performance.
2. Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain quality standards for plating operations, including uniformity, appearance, and functional properties.
- Perform regular analyses of plating baths (e.g., pH, nickel, phosphorus content) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Investigate and resolve plating defects such as porosity, adhesion failures, or surface irregularities.
3. Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations regarding chemical handling, wastewater treatment, and emissions control.
- Implement sustainable practices to reduce waste, chemical consumption, and environmental impact.
4. Project Management:
- Lead technical projects related to electroless nickel plating, from concept to implementation.
- Collaborate with production teams to scale up new plating processes and integrate them into manufacturing workflows.
- Provide cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements for plating projects.
5. Research and Development:
- Explore new formulations, additives, and technologies to enhance the performance and capabilities of electroless nickel coatings.
- Evaluate and implement advanced measurement and monitoring systems to improve process control.
6. Training and Leadership:
- Train and mentor technicians and junior engineers in plating techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Act as a technical expert, providing guidance to teams and communicating findings to stakeholders.
7. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of plating equipment, including tanks, pumps, heaters, and agitation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Yêu cầu
JOB REQUIREMENT:
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Age: From 35 to 45 years old
3. Working experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electroless nickel plating or a related surface engineering field.
- Proven track record of managing plating operations and developing advanced coatings.
4. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electroless nickel plating chemistry, including bath formulation, additives, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of plating-related standards (e.g., ASTM, MIL specifications).
- Familiarity with analytical techniques like spectroscopy, titration, and microscopy.
5. Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings.
- Leadership and project management abilities.
6. Professional certifications in electroplating or surface finishing is an advantage.
7. Can communicate in English
