Job Purpose:
The PR position is responsible for managing operation of PR project. To assist the PR manager and work with other teams (creative, planning) to successfully manage projects that exceed client's needs and expectations.
Key Responsibility:
Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and product pieces
Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional, and trade journalists, across print, broadcast, and online, to interest them in covering their clients' stories
Respond to phone calls and emails from journalists
Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients' spokespeople - in person or over the phone - and facilitate these meetings where appropriate
Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
Attend client events and industry conferences
Handle clients' social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn page
Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement, and follower figures
Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
Key Deliverables:
Make sure all projects are compliant to standard working process with stated project working, communication, feedback and reporting rules
Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
Satisfying the client while maintaining agency proficiency.
Give consults to client on PR know-how as guided by PR Manager/ PR supervisor
Qualification/ Requirement:
Previous working experience as Public Relations from 1 years
College degree preferable in Marketing, Communication or Public relations or similar relevant field
Excellent communication, presentation
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
Personal qualities: interpersonal skills, energy & enthusiasm, commitment, creativity & innovation, team player, customer focus, Attention to details
