***JOB DESCRIPTION
*Sourcing
• responsible for sourcing and evaluating new suppliers + factories in china, vietnam and any other possible region assigned by management for fabric, trims, embellishments and accessories...
• negiotiation with factories and suppliers for "best" terms - including costing, delivery dates, payment terms, etc. - for the company
• in charge of keeping that sourcing database up to date at all time
*Cost sheets
• responsible for liaising with suppliers to get all fabrics / trims / accessories most updated prices
• full responsibilty for achieving cost sheets with accurate prices (taking into account upcharge / mcq / moq...) for sms or bulk orders
• in charge of keeping these cost sheets up to date at all times
• must work closely with merchandisers and management to provide best prices data to them in the best timing
• report directly to the company management
*Purchasing raw material
• manage raw material (rm) from purchasing to follow up, until shipment and check accuracy at delivery
• support inventory manager to enter the stock data into the system
• manage and negotiate the best delivery with rm vendors. Analyse vendors' capacity and capability to ensure they can deliver the right product on time
• follow up on liability with vendors due to mcq, cancellation, etc and take the lead to resolve potential issues
• meet or visit rm vendors in order to ensure best relationships
• work closely with our quality team and merchandisers to ensure that our customers' standards are met (audit/ certifications...)
• communicate daily on delivery status and possible issues to allow appropriate decisions to be taken to ensure goals are met
• must work closely with merchandisers and sample room team to ensure all rm is delivered on time to produce samples required
• report directly to the company management
*Administrative part
• responsible for gathering all related invoices and pass them to accounting department
• monitoring of all delivery related issues and responsible for execution and weekly updates in writing and ensure timely and accurate information is given to the management team.
• follow up with other members of the team in charge of documentation, shipping and logistics issues, to ensure on time ex-factory and boarding of vessel.
