Sr. R&D Engineer is responsible for HVAC engineering in materials, product development, compliance & standards, documentation, continuous improvement & project management.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Planning & execute R&D projects: research, design, qualify & improve HVAC product.
• Prototype build & qualification: build prototype, test, analysis, finetune & qualify, report.
• Collaboration: work with all stakeholders to deploy projects: Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, Project Leader, Production, Quality.
• Develop test protocol: (under International Standards) to qualify product, establish specification, standards.
• Documentation: build & maintain material, product specifications, compliance, BOM, drawings, ECN, PLM & engineering documents.
• Support the production and engineering needs through the set-up and operation of manufacturing processes.
• Manage Lab room, testing activities.
• Run VE projects.
• Receive handover from relocation project.
• Run product innovation projects.

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (required), able to communicate clearly and directly with all levels of the organization.
• 10+ years of related experience and knowledge in HVAC equipment & manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical & manufacturing processes.
• Strong experience of HVAC International standards, testing methods, compliance.
• Project, management skills & able to work with stakeholders.
• Able to understand and document a process, specification accurately. Quick learner.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects.
• Team environment and independent working experience.
• Hands-on style.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, simulation software knowledge as well as general software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal engineering or any related.
