Senior Software Engineer (AI Agent Building)

About the Role
We are seeking an Expert Software Engineer to build agentic AI tools, automation frameworks, and integrations for engineering workflows. You will develop reliable AI agents supporting requirements analysis, knowledge discovery, and automotive test design across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Build AI agents with tool calling, workflow orchestration, state management, human review, execution tracing, and error recovery.
Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions combining document ingestion, vector search, and knowledge graphs.
Integrate enterprise systems and engineering tools such as Codebeamer through secure REST APIs.
Benchmark models and agent workflows for task success, accuracy, latency, and cost.
Develop reusable automation frameworks, backend services, and web interfaces.
Implement CI/CD, automated evaluations, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
Collaborate with test engineers to deliver maintainable tools and documented integrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of software development experience.
Strong Python skills and experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
Experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks such as LangGraph.
Hands-on knowledge of RAG, embeddings, retrieval evaluation, and prompt design.
Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, including Cypher queries, knowledge modeling, and SQL.
Practical experience with API integration, authentication and access control, Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
Strong software design, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of automotive test design is a strong plus, especially requirements-based testing, traceability, and ADAS validation.
Familiarity with React/TypeScript, Azure AI services, or AWS.
Experience with agent evaluation datasets, regression testing, or VS Code extensions.
