Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Software Architecture &
Development:
Design and build production-grade backend services and APIs; own features end-to-end and review both human- and agent-authored code.
Database &
Security: Design schemas and optimize performance (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB); enforce secure coding practices, auth protocols (OAuth 2.0/OIDC), and vulnerability remediation (OWASP, SAST/DAST).
Cloud Platform &
IaC (AWS): Own multi-account landing zones, runtime environments (EKS/ECS, Lambda), and event-driven backbones (SQS, Kafka); manage modular IaC (Terraform/CDK) and optimize cloud spend.
CI/CD &
Release Engineering: Build automated pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) with embedded quality/security gates and safe progressive delivery mechanisms.
Technical Leadership &
AI Workflows: Drive architectural decisions (ADRs), mentor engineers, and adopt emerging AI-ops/agent tooling to eliminate operational toil.
Qualifications:
Experience: 6+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in production systems architecture and extensive hands-on AWS platform experience.
Core Engineering: Proficient in at least one language (Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript); deep expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and database query tuning.
Cloud &
DevOps:
Strong hands-on proficiency with core AWS services, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK).
Multi-Agent Systems &
LLMs: Production experience building multi-agent systems and leveraging LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock) via LLM gateways; able to establish guardrails for AI-generated code.
Leadership: Proven ability to align cross-team technical strategy and mentor engineering teams.
Certifications (Mandatory): Active AWS Associate-level certification or higher (SAA, DVA, or SysOps). Professional-level certifications (SAP, DOP) are a strong plus.
