Looking for a talented Senior Sourcing Merchandiser who is capable to source new potential suppliers, oversee product development, costing, production planning, be a bridge to connect and deal with Customers and Manufacturing Vendors.
Description
The ideal Senior Sourcing Merchandiser, reported directly to the Manager, will be responsible for the following activities:
* Sourcing suitable suppliers based on customer's inquiry and orders.
* Being expertise in product development, costing, production planning, work with clients, suppliers, and production factory.
* Conducting market's trend to survey and develop new product.
* Develop new products and promote to customer to meet sales target and quotation.
* Negotiate on purchasing terms and cost with vendors/suppliers to meet buyer's requirement.
* Independently dealing with Customer and Vendor/factory.
* Evaluate and select potential suppliers by reviewing capability and facility.
* Monitor on-time delivery and leverage vendor's performance and product quality.
* Product presentation through samples and display to buyers during their visits
* Sourcing, making offers and preparing itinerary for buyers.
* Other works as assigned from line manager.
Profile
The preferred candidate has Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Economy or related discipline, combined with at least 5 years trading/agency experience for US market, focus on hardline/home accessories/home décor/stationery.
Fluent English and Vietnamese are required.
