Role Description The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed calculations, conducting structural analysis, reviewing design drawings and models, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architectural and MEP designs. The role involves overseeing CAD and BIM deliverables, mentoring junior engineers, participating in design reviews, and supporting project planning, timelines, and quality control.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with a combination of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
The Senior Structural
Engineer will also interact with clients, contribute to proposals, and help drive continuous improvement in design standards and processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations using relevant codes, standards, and industry software.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and familiarity with BIM workflows for structural design and documentation.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineering staff.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience working in consulting environments and knowledge of regional building codes in Vietnam or Southeast Asia is an advantage.
Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a structural or civil engineer is preferred.
