Senior System Architect

Job Purpose
We seek you to be our Senior System Architect to build the technical foundation of our platform from the ground up. In this pivotal role, you will translate product vision into scalable, resilient, and agile system architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the critical bridge between product vision and deep tech execution. You will collaborate intimately with the Head of AI, the Technical Director, the CISO, and fellow Product Builders to deeply understand the product context, align AI capabilities with architectural realities, and ensure unified, high-speed delivery.
• Phase-Driven Architecture: Design and implement infrastructure that perfectly matches our current product stage. Build lean, rapidly iterating systems for PMF discovery, and lay the strategic groundwork to scale seamlessly alongside the roadmap defined by the Head of Products.
• AI API Infrastructure: Partner with the Head of AI to take charge of our deployment architecture. Design highly available, secure, and ultra-low-latency APIs for our proprietary and third-party AI models (including LLMs and CNNs), ensuring they integrate smoothly into real-time health tech workflows. Latency is mission-critical; clinicians cannot wait on slow inference, so optimizing response times for fast, reliable results at the point of care is a top priority.
• Lean Collaboration & Execution: Champion "lean conversations" and agile execution. Avoid premature over-engineering while ensuring technical debt is managed responsibly. Communicate complex technical trade-offs simply and effectively to both product leadership and technical advisors.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Wear multiple hats with pride. Work closely with Product Builders, AI scientists, and operational teams to troubleshoot, remove blockers, and accelerate release cycles.
• Security & Reliability: Ensure our system architectures are built with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices from day one, establishing proper SLIs/SLOs and, in partnership with the CISO, maintaining strict compliance with healthcare data security standards.
