Senior UI Artist / UI Artist Games

You will be a part of our new game development team working on Arcade Online in Ho Chi Minh City, a gaming service which will allow millions of players around the world to play arcade games from home.

This key role will design the most attractive and optimal UI to entice players, providing them with the best gaming experience possible.

• Develop, explore and style the game's user interface and develop icons, buttons, frames, and panels, etc.
• Explore and assemble visual material to define and improve the visual style of the game.
• Collaborate closely with Senior UX/UI designer to iterate and consider the gameplay implications of the design and the overall player experience.
• Contribute to other Art areas, including graphics for Marketing & User Acquisition.
• Building Arcade Online to a world-class level of user interface.

Our salary for this role is as follow:

• Intermediate (3+ yrs): up to 1500 USD
• Senior (8+ yrs): up to 2200 USD

Requirements:

• Able to create high-fidelity mock ups, screens, and UI assets that clearly demonstrate a very strong understanding of advanced graphic design principles, while still adhering to the product's overall style guide.
• Diverse UI style portfolio from casual friendly games through to mature titles. (Experience in the Adobe graphics suite essential).
• Strong background in digital art: clear consideration of color theory, shape, scale, form, silhouette.
• Can-do attitude with confidence in your ability to work to a design spec / brief whilst able to use your own intuition to fill in the gaps.
• Attention to detail in order to push the visual and technical barriers further.
• Highly creative with a true passion for games
• Highly independent who is self-directed and am able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Good communication skill (spoken / written) in English.

Senior: 8+ working in a UI Art role or capacity for an interactive product or game or Intermediate: 3+ years working in a UI Art role or capacity for an interactive product.

Bonus:

Solid background in traditional arts, sketching, After Effects, and/or illustration will be an added advantage.

• Working time: 9:00 - 18:00, Monday - Friday
