Senior Windows System Engineer

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client environments.
• Proficient in managing Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and/or VMware.
• Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting and process automation.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Azure, Intune, and identity management solutions.
• Familiarity with network administration, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
• Practical experience with release processes for applications, including planning, coordination, deployment and acceptance testing (in collaboration with Business users)
• Sound understanding of IT security practices and concepts (e.g., endpoint protection, compliance, monitoring).
• (Optional) Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• (Optional) Experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies are a plus

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and solution-oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent documentation and process mapping skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. (German or other languages are a plus.)
