The Job
- As a SRE, you will be part of a team to build AWS cloud architecture for our PHP/Javascript/Golang/Ruby/Python applications.
- You will define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IAC), improve the CI/CD pipeline, ensure scalability and availability of the system, build monitoring stack, automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts, ...
- We are utilizing a broad toolset for DevOps/Infra like Docker, Ansible, Jenkins Pipelines, Github Actions... and leveraging multiple services from AWS: EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch...
- Working to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and manage all environments of the team.
- Responsible for zero-downtime of the system for millions of users.
- To work with the engineering team and take architectural decisions.
Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- At least 02 years' experience in the same position SRE (DevOps) with AWS technologies and services.
- Expertise in Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and SDLC patterns.
- Understanding the well-architected framework of AWS to build and optimize system on the AWS.
- Have an in-depth understanding of microservice architecture, API management, and distributed systems concepts.
- Understanding about networking (TCP, UDP, OSI Model, ...)
- Experience (IAM, EC2, ALB, S3, ECS, Cloudwatch, CloudFormation...).
- Familiar with Linux/ Unix Administration and scripting using shell scripts.
- Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting, detect and handle infrastructure issues/problems
- Experience with some of the following technologies:
* Relevant working experience of code and script (PHP/Golang/Ruby/NodeJS/Python/BashShell); Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes); Experience with automatization/configuration management using either Ansible, Capistrano...:; Experience with tools as Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, & Github Actions; Strong understanding of command-line tools and distributed version control system such as GIT. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal by English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to quickly pick-up new technology stacks.
- Self-driven, proactive.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good English language skills for both reading and writing.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is highly desirable.
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Should be able to design high-level/low-level network/devops architecture and properly document.
