Position Overview
The Manager, Social Outreach is a key planning role within the Social Commerce Pod of BCM's Integrated Media & Commerce Department. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating Social Outreach, Creator and Influencer Engagement, Affiliate Amplification, Community Advocacy, and Social Commerce Activations that help brands capture consumer attention, generate demand, and drive business outcomes across the full funnel.
This position is not limited to influencer booking or post management. It requires a strong understanding of consumer behavior, social conversations, creator ecosystems, platform trends, commerce objectives, and campaign performance in order to develop Social Outreach plans that contribute effectively to demand generation.

Consumers no longer move through a simple linear funnel. They simultaneously search for product information, consume content, reviews, livestreams, and entertainment, engage with social and creator content, and shop across ecommerce platforms and online and offline touchpoints.
The Social Commerce Pod plays a critical role in turning social attention, influence, and advocacy into measurable demand and commerce outcomes.
Responsibilities
1. Social Outreach & Creator Planning
The Manager, Social Outreach is responsible for identifying and recommending suitable creators, influencers, KOLs, KOCs, communities, and social pages based on client objectives and campaign requirements.
The role is responsible for defining creator roles across the consumer journey, including Awareness, Engagement, Consideration, Advocacy, and Conversion, and for developing creator mix recommendations based on category relevance, audience profile, content style, platform strength, engagement quality, brand fit, and commerce potential.
The Manager, Social Outreach ensures that Social Outreach plans are aligned with brand strategy, content direction, media plans, and commerce objectives.
2. Social Commerce
The Manager, Social Outreach is responsible for translating social influence into commerce impact across Stream, Scroll, Search, and Shop.
The role involves planning social activations that support ecommerce outcomes such as store visits, product discovery, livestream traffic, affiliate conversion, product trial, review generation, and social proof.
The Manager, Social Outreach works closely with Affiliate Planners, MCN partners, and the Livestream Team to connect creator outreach with social commerce mechanics.
The role is also responsible for recommending Social Outreach solutions for ecommerce mega campaigns, product launches, sale periods, and always-on demand generation initiatives.
The Manager, Social Outreach ensures that Social Outreach activities contribute to integrated full-funnel KPIs and broader business objectives.
3. Content Briefing & Creative Alignment
The Manager, Social Outreach translates campaign strategy into clear and actionable creator briefs.
The role works closely with the Creative and Strategy Teams to define content angles, storytelling direction, platform format requirements, product demonstration needs, and commerce hooks.
The Manager, Social Outreach reviews creator content concepts and drafts to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with campaign objectives and brand requirements, while maintaining creator authenticity.
4. Integrated Internal Coordination
The Manager, Social Outreach coordinates closely with internal teams to ensure that Social Outreach activities are fully integrated into broader campaign delivery.
The role works with the Client Growth Team to understand client business objectives, campaign requirements, budget, and scope.
The role works with the Strategy Team to understand consumer insights, experience strategy, cultural signals, and must-win moments.
The role works with the Performance Team to align on paid amplification, creator content boosting, tracking, taxonomy, and performance measurement.
The role works with the Ecommerce Operations Team to ensure product availability, promotion setup, vouchers, store links, and platform readiness are aligned before social activations.
The role works with the Creative Team to align messaging, assets, creative direction, and content quality.
The role works with the CS Team to ensure consistent client communication, relationship management, and service quality.
5. Reporting, Learning & Business Review
The Manager, Social Outreach works with the Client Growth, Performance, and Ecommerce Teams to consolidate campaign reports, performance data, and key learnings.
The role translates Social Outreach data into clear and client-friendly business implications and identifies what worked, what did not work, and what should be improved in the next campaign cycle.
The Manager, Social Outreach ensures that recommendations are actionable and directly linked to client growth and business objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in Social Outreach, Influencer Marketing, Social Media Planning, PR, Digital Campaign Planning, Social Commerce, Creator Management, or a related field.
Experience working in an agency, influencer agency, social media agency, ecommerce company, MCN, or digital marketing environment is preferred.
Strong experience working with creators, KOLs, KOCs, affiliates, or social communities is highly preferred.
Familiarity with TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, livestreaming, affiliate marketing, and creator commerce is a plus.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, creator ecosystems, consumer behavior, and emerging social and commerce trends.
The candidate should be able to develop Social Outreach strategies and plans based on client business objectives, consumer insights, campaign strategy, and platform behavior.
Strong communication, presentation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations.
A strong commercial mindset and the ability to connect Social Outreach activities with Demand Generation, Commerce, and Business Growth objectives are highly valued.
