Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development to resolve design issues with innovative and practical cloud or existing solutions.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for Leading solution design for projects from early concept through design development to resolve design issues with innovative and practical cloud or existing solutions, contribute to the regional solution architecture. You will apply the latest agile development methodology and process to deliver software with speed and quality. You are also response to coach, mentor and train other team members on Architecture, Design, and modern technologies trend.

Job Responsibilities

Lead solution design for Projects from early concept through design development. Prepare system flow, specifications, and construction documents.

Coordinate preliminary architectural studies with group architects for major new structures and alterations to existing structures.
Resolve design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
Modify existing plans and elevations to fit business needs.
Work collaboratively with strategic solution team to change the way work to a digital first mindset, where it is less paper focused and more digital focused.
Involve business proposals and roadmaps for strategic digital products.
Gather internal and external input to develop strategic digital products for business opportunity set.
Establish good working relationships with both delivery teams so prototype/PoC can be implemented later.
Responsible for leading a cross functional team of development from BA, Developer, QC to drive business results through the success of key business initiatives.
Own and proactively identify issues and drive resolutions end-to-end.
Coordinate with key stakeholders in managing digital tools to achieve high performance results.
Develop business cases and communicate product strategy to senior audiences.
Evaluate and propose the best cloud technologies for a given business problem
Drive a high quality and high-performance culture by applying proper development process
Coach, mentor, motivate and train team members with less experience
Build rapid prototyping and development to test innovative ideas in the market.

Job Accountability

Design, develop and deliver usable, adaptable, reliable, and secure business software solutions to contribute to the regional business growth

Work with higher manager in solution team in the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

Supply digital technology consultations/solutions to business and help them understand how technology trade-offs influence strategy.

Accountable for initiative and prototype/POC.

Responsible for digital acceleration in terms of adapting quickly and effectively to a rapidly changing world which is being driven by big data, AI/ML, and other innovative technologies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.

Knowledge and skill

Minimum 10+ years of proven work experience in software development
5+ years in system architecture and design
Over 5 years of digital experience in the insurance/financial services sector, a minimum of 3-year experience in a management role.
Experience working in Large/Enterprise level organizations.
The ability to quickly and smartly adjust digital strategy, voice and tone based on client and audience.
Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level.
Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written) with relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and aptitude to develop and motivate a team.
Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder input).
Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies, relevance to digital and overall client experiences.
An understanding of the Legal and Compliance need of the industry preferred.
Experience designing cloud software architectures for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Strong experience and knowledge in API, system integration, microservices, business reporting, software engineering concepts and best practices
Experience in designing or building solutions using Azure Cloud service technologies, or similar cloud provider.
Experience in enterprise integration technology like message queue or event streaming.
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of serverless technology is an advantage.
Expertise in designing professional API using OpenAPI standard/Swagger
Knowledge of CI/CD, and Infrastructure as code.
Experience working in a product-oriented, team-based environment that uses modern digital delivery approaches such as user experience design, lean, agile, DevOps, and cloud computing
Experience in the following languages, frameworks, techniques, and technologies such as Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, [protected info], React, Angular, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, MSSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, Git, Bitbucket, Redis, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Azure, AWS, Terraform, Kafka
Strong analytical mind and logical thinking
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
Competent in English communication and presentation skills especially on technical and architectural topics are required.
You have proven ability to simplify and navigate in highly ambiguous situations
