POSITION OVERVIEW
Design, develop, and support applications and devices for Smart City services.
Mainly focus on backend development and system/application architecture.
Define requirements, design, develop, and implement applications and cloud infrastructure.
Lead or independently handle complex AWS PoCs, including environment design, implementation, and verification.
Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Communicate and clarify requirements, specifications, and technical solutions with stakeholders.
Support PoC, testing, and technical inquiries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical depth.
Experience in application requirement definition, design, and development.
Strong experience with AWS / Cloud infrastructure design and development.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate, propose, and act independently.
Experience with business logic development and implementation.
Experience in data model design and development.
Project management or technical leadership experience is a plus.
Experience with one or more of: Python, Go, Java, Terraform.
Familiarity with GitHub, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs/Sheets.
Prefer candidates with experience in long-term projects (6+ months).
English: Good communication skills. Japanese is a plus.
